MULLUMBIMBY LIVING FOOD & SOIL FESTIVAL -
Saturday October 27th 2012 at Mullum Community Garden
The Never Never Kombu Farm will have a stall at the Mullum Community Garden this coming Saturday for the Mullumbimby Living Food & Soil Festival. We will be there with our delicious organic avocados - get in quick if you want ripe ones! We hope to see you there, 10am–4pm at the Mullum Community Garden.
Living Soil is the inspiration for this years Community Garden Festival , and 'Living in a living world’ has become the theme. The festival is aiming to be interactive, much as ‘living in a living world’ implies, to be inhabiting our world fully and well.
The Festival will host various presentations, forums, discussions, and tours. There will be markets and information stalls, rest areas, and ongoing projects that you can be a part of. And food growing abundantly everywhere.
And of course the serious dirt geek business of growing thriving food with living soil will also be addressed. Biodynamics, soil diagnosis, composts, biochar, permaculture, planning and more.
It will be an inspirational experience. A local living food and living soil festival, the ultimate commonsense idea. Plus a fun and educational day for the family.

The Never Never Kombu Farm will have a market stall at the local Bangalow Market this Sunday, January 22nd. We will be there with organic pumpkins, potatoes, onions, spring onions, avocados and some herbs. This will be the first market at Bangalow for 2012 - we hope to see you there, at the Bangalow showgrounds, between 9am and 3pm.

BALLINA TWILIGHT MARKET - Thursday January 12th 2012
The Never Never Kombu Farm will have a stall this evening 4-8pm at the Ballina Twilight Market, a new local produce market on every Thursday during the daylight savings months in Fawcett Park, on the riverfront in Ballina. Whilst the avocado season is coming to a close for us now we will be selling our organic potatoes, pumpkin, spring onions and silverbeet.

BALLINA TWILIGHT MARKET - Thursday January 5th 2012
Happy New Year! We hope you have enjoyed the holiday season. We've all had a lovely time relaxing and frolicking with friends and family here on the Never Never Kombu Farm.
Last week we had our first stall at the Ballina Twilight Market which is a new local produce market to be held every Thursday during the daylight savings months in Fawcett Park, on the riverfront in Ballina. The Never Never Kombu Farm will have a stall there again this week, Thursday January 5th from 4-8pm. We will be selling our organic avocados, potatoes, pumpkin and silverbeet.

A LOVELY DAY OUT AT THE BANGALOW MARKET - Sept 25th 2011
We had our first market stall at the Bangalow Markets on Sunday. It turned out to be a lovely sunny day with lots of visitors from near and far, being the first weekend of the NSW school holidays, and the first market of the spring.
We had a great day and sold lots of tasty avocados and custard apples. Looks like we're going to make it a regular thing!

The Never Never Kombu Farm will have our first market stall at the local Bangalow Market this Sunday, September 25th. We will have available for sale several varieties of our organic avocados, as well as Bok Choy, silverbeet and custard apples (all organic of course!). SAMPLE FOOD FESTIVAL - September 10th 2011
The Never Never Kombu Farm had a stall at the recent Sample Food Festival in Bangalow. John and Chris spent the day educating festival goers on the finer details of the avocado varieties that are currently in season and available on the farm. They set up for the day with a bunch of these different avocados, which they encouraged folks to taste and sample as well as offering information about each one. The day was a huge success all round with a wonderful selection of treats to be had from local growers, producers and chefs showcasing their best, along with some great local music and family activities. It was a gorgeus sunny spring day and with a turn out of approximately ten thousand visitors to the festival over the course of the day, it was quite a celebration!
